tHE cANINE cOTTAGE

Three years ago, I started making some dog collars and leads from paracord rope, for my two dogs Ozzie and Cooper, mainly as I struggled to find nice colourful and functional collars in their size. After receiving some great feedback and making more for family and friends, I decided to set up an Etsy Online Store and started Trinkety Paws.
 

I made all collars and leads at our living room table, in my spare time after work. Through the first lockdown with a growing amount of orders and materials taking over every corner of our living room space, we created an office in our spare room. Another four month on, even the office was too small to hold our constantly increasing material range and to manage to make the amount of orders, Trinkety Paws became my main job.
 

We converted our Garden Summerhouse from a gym into a the new workshop, to have enough space for my new colleagues, that now supported me to make our beautiful collars and leads. But after just five months the new workshop space became very crowded once again.
 

We visited the site at Chester House Estate, who were looking for local small business tenants at the time. The dog friendly location, beautiful scenery and great management team at Chester House Estate, made the decision that this was a great set up for us even easier. The Canine Cottage Shop was born, and we couldn't be happier to combine our Online Platform and Trinkety Paws Workshop, with the rustic unique dog shop we have now created.
